A little bit about the Papa Tango DX Club of North Central Ohio

We are a diverse club that was established in 1996 by operator 2PT301 operator "Dean" in Green Springs, Ohio.  Papa Tango DX Club has roughly 45 dedicated members that talk daily on 11 meter at our standby frequency 27.705.0 Mhz USB.  We enjoy dx'ing on 27.555.0 Mhz USB and have made connections with Australia, India, Brazil, Jamaica, France, Germany and Italy to name a few.  We enjoy making professional connections with the use of Q-Codes and proper sideband communication methods.  Papa Tango's will continue to grow and we plan on adding members outside the United States to broaden our name.  Most members are using 10/11/12 meter rigs designed to provide top-notch performance on U/L sideband.  Our founding members are a tight knit group that are willing to help each other out in time of need including but not limited to (antenna repair, radio repair and more).  We look forward adding additional members to the Papa Tango DX Club and making more worldwide connections and friends.  We have a core group of operators that selectively screen member applicants to ensure the highest quality transmissions and communications are made by Papa Tango members.  We hope to re-build a deteriorating hobby and are able to build a nice community of operators in the United States and abroad!
